A recent report by the Coalition Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) suggests that $6 billion in Iranian oil revenues has been generated for the Revolutionary Guard since the announcement of the Strait of Hormuz Agreement.

The agreement, a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, was announced after the US reinstated a strict naval blockade on vessels transiting to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas. The report estimates that these oil exports have been sold at a discount of between 10 and 12 dollars per barrel.

US forces had diverted 44 commercial vessels attempting to breach the blockade as of August 3, with two vessels disabled for non-compliance and two boarded to ensure full compliance.
