Iran's Oil Export Earnings Surge Past $11 Billion
Iran's Ministry of Petroleum has released data showing that the country's oil export earnings have exceeded $11 billion between March 21 and July 22. This marks a significant increase from the previous quarter, where exports amounted to approximately $8 billion from December 22, 2025, to March 20, 2026.
The release of this data follows reports that the decline in Iran's foreign exchange reserves is attributed to the decline in oil sector performance. Prior to the escalation of military tensions and naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman, Iran's annual oil export revenues ranged from $50 billion to $60 billion.
