Iran's Oil Exports Surge Amid Ramadan War Bombardment
The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) reported a nearly 10% increase in crude oil exports during the Ramadan War, a period marked by heavy aerial bombardments. CEO Hamid Bourd attributed this growth to the resilience of the nation's oil export operations.
Bourd emphasized that Iran's actual oil production is 'definitely higher' than the figures typically reported by international organizations. He noted that even crude oil loading operations experienced a surge, resulting in an 8 to 10% increase in overall exports relative to peacetime levels.
The NIOC chief highlighted that alongside the growth in export volumes, oil prices also increased, contributing to overall growth for the country's oil exports throughout the Ramadan War. He underscored the industry's demonstrated capabilities and its ability to effectively manage production, loading, and exports even under extremely challenging conditions.
