Iran's Oil Industry Resists Aggression with Uninterrupted Exports
The Iranian oil industry has demonstrated resilience in the face of recent aggression from the US and Israel. Despite over 550 strikes on Kharg Island, a major oil export hub, crude exports continued uninterrupted throughout the conflict.
Citing the oil minister's interview, Iran maintained production levels and even restored some capacity after the attacks. The industry also made progress in developing new projects and increasing upstream crude gas production, setting a record for raw gas production in the upstream sector.
The country has also overcome maritime restrictions imposed during the war, allowing it to sell oil to customers in distant areas. Additionally, Iran has achieved record levels of upstream crude gas production and increased its oil-processing capacity, with production exceeding 300,000 barrels.
