Iran's Oil Production Surges to 2.478 Million Barrels Amid OPEC Growth

Iran's oil production has seen an increase of 26,000 barrels per day in July compared to June, reaching 2.478 million barrels. This figure surpasses Iran's previous month's output by a considerable margin and solidifies the country's position as the third-largest oil producer among OPEC member states.

The OPEC Secretariat recently released a report citing secondary sources, which revealed that Saudi Arabia remains the leader in oil production with 7.352 million barrels per day, followed closely by Iraq with 2.621 million barrels per day.

The total oil production of OPEC members has also seen an increase, reaching 23.632 million barrels per day in July, a rise of 1.659 million barrels compared to the previous month. Similarly, countries participating in the OPEC+ cooperation statement saw their crude oil production increase by 37.655 million barrels per day in July, surpassing June's output by 1.424 million barrels.
