Iran's Oil Production Unfazed by US Strikes on Kharg Island
Iran's national oil company CEO responded to US President Donald Trump's claims that Kharg Island was destroyed, saying the strikes did not stop oil production. According to the official, several contractors are rebuilding and renovating storage tanks on the island.
The CEO described Trump's comments as 'laughable,' citing ongoing work on projects that are 20% to 30% complete. The US had struck Iranian launchers on Larak Island on Sunday, marking the first US strikes on Iranian territory since late July.
