Iran's Oil Revenues Cover 2026 Budget Despite Naval Blockade
The Iranian Ministry of Petroleum has reported that the country's oil reserves are sufficient to cover its 2026 budget. According to Fars News Agency, Iran has collected approximately $7.5 billion in oil revenues during the first four months of this year, which is about 99% of the estimated budget revenues for this period.
The agency stated that these funds will be sufficient to cover all government expenditures in foreign currency from July to December 2026, despite the ongoing naval blockade. The Ministry of Petroleum transferred the collected oil revenues to the Central Bank of Iran, ensuring the country's financial stability.
