Iran's Oil Revenues Surge 2.7 Times During Ramadan War
Hojatollah Abdolmaleki, Iran's former Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, disputed claims that the country is experiencing financial difficulties due to the Ramadan War. According to Abdolmaleki, Iran's oil revenues nearly tripled during the conflict.
Abdolmaleki stated that Iranian crude oil prices rose by approximately 85% compared to pre-war figures, while export volumes grew by 1.5 times during operational weeks. This significant increase in sales volume and price surge brought Iran's oil revenue to nearly 2.7 times its previous level.
Abdolmaleki added that tens of millions of barrels of floating oil storage were fully sold during this period. Although he acknowledged brief drops in sales due to naval blockade conditions, he maintained that overall national oil revenues nearly tripled during active sales periods.
