Iraq's oil exports have averaged 2 million barrels per day since August, according to Oil Minister Bassem Khudair.

This milestone comes after Iraq exported around 49 million barrels in July, with a significant portion of the country's budget dependent on oil exports.

The government aims to achieve gas self-sufficiency and increase oil and gas production capacity by developing infrastructure and creating employment opportunities in oil-producing regions.
