Saudi Arabia has condemned an attack on its East-West oil pipeline, which was hit by drones launched from Iraq. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the pipeline was targeted in the Riyadh and Medina areas, resulting in injuries and material damage.

The pipeline was temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure, according to an official from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy.

Iraq has welcomed Saudi Arabia's decision not to retaliate for now, while expressing its own condemnation of the attack. Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has directed an investigation into those responsible.
