Iraq Remains Key Oil Supplier to South Korea Amid Global Price Surge

Iraq has maintained its position as South Korea's fourth-largest crude oil supplier in the first half of 2026, accounting for 7.4 percent of the country's total oil imports.

The figures show that Iraq supplied a total of 113.7 million barrels to South Korea in the first six months of this year, an increase of 12 percent from 2025.

In contrast, Saudi Arabia remained the largest supplier, making up 30.5 percent of South Korea's oil imports, followed by the United States with over 20 percent.
