Iraq Seizes Drone Launch Platform Used in Attack on Saudi Oil Pipeline
Iraqi authorities have made significant progress in their investigation into an attack on Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline. According to Saad Maan, chief of Iraq's Security Media Cell, a drone launch platform used in the attack has been seized inside Iraqi territory.
Maan stated that an intelligence and security task force was able to locate and seize the platform after conducting investigative procedures with the involvement of forensic experts.
The efforts to secure the platform were part of intensive field and intelligence operations aimed at identifying those involved in the attack. Iraq's army spokesman, Sabah Al-Numan, also confirmed that security and intelligence agencies were continuing operations to arrest all individuals responsible for targeting Saudi Arabia.
