Iraq Targets Oil Output Boost Amid OPEC Quota Talks
Iraq is planning to increase its oil production to between 8 million and 10 million barrels per day within six years, according to Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi.
In an effort to achieve this goal, a ministerial committee has been sent to Saudi Arabia to discuss expanding Iraq's OPEC production quota.
Iraq is also exploring alternative export routes, including through Syria's Baniyas port and Jordan's Aqaba port.
