Iraqi Drones Hit Saudi Oil Pipeline in Coordinated Attack
Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline was hit by drones launched from Iraq on September 10, according to Saudi authorities. The attack caused human injuries and damage to the pipeline.
The foreign ministry of Saudi Arabia condemned the targeting of the pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions by several drones coming from Iraq.
An energy ministry official told the SPA news agency that the pipeline was stopped as a precaution, and some people were injured in the attack.
Saudi Arabia has chosen not to respond to the attack at this stage and is supporting the efforts of the Iraqi government to prevent similar attacks launched from Iraq against Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.
