Iraqi Gold Prices Hold Steady in Baghdad, Rise in Erbil
Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil have shown slight variations on Wednesday. In the capital city, gold held steady at around 850,000 IQD per mithqal, with 21-carat Iraqi gold selling for 818,000 IQD. Jewelry stores were offering 21-carat Gulf gold between 850,000 and 860,000 IQD per mithqal, while Iraqi gold was sold for between 820,000 and 830,000 IQD.
In Erbil, the situation was different with 22-carat gold being sold at 897,000 IQD per mithqal. The prices in Erbil also included 21-carat gold at 857,000 IQD and 18-carat gold at 734,000 IQD.
