Iraqi Gold Prices Plummet in Baghdad and Erbil

Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil markets have seen a decline on Saturday. According to a market survey by Shafaq News, gold prices hovered around 970,000 IQD per mithqal. The selling price for 21-carat gold in Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street was 970,000 IQD, with a buying price of 966,000 IQD.

The same gold had sold for 995,000 IQD on Thursday, indicating a drop in prices. In jewelry stores, the selling price per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 970,000 and 980,000 IQD.

In Erbil, the prices were slightly different. 22-carat gold was sold at 1,000,000 IQD per mithqal, while 21-carat gold was sold at 955,000 IQD. The price of 18-carat gold in Erbil stood at 820,000 IQD.
