Iraqi Kurdistan Oil Production Resumes After Drone Attacks Disruptions

Oil production in Iraqi Kurdistan has resumed at around 230,000 barrels per day following disruptions caused by drone attacks during the Iran war. According to acting Minister of Natural Resources Kamal Mohammed, companies have returned to work and production is gradually increasing.

Mohammed stated that oil production had been disrupted but has since stabilized at between 220,000 and 230,000 barrels per day. The Kurdistan Region has been targeted repeatedly by drones and missiles.

The spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, Salim al-Rikabi, said that oil exports from the region to the Turkish port of Ceyhan have reached approximately 150,000 barrels per day.
