Iraqi Resistance Denies Involvement in Saudi Oil Attacks, Warns of Israeli-American Plot
The Iraqi Resistance has denied allegations that it carried out attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure, warning Baghdad against Israeli-American plots to drag the country into crises.
The group released a statement saying while it would be a source of pride if it had carried out such an operation, the attack was not claimed by the resistance.
The Iraqi government has been accused of being too quick to accept Saudi Arabia's allegations without presenting credible evidence or conducting a thorough investigation.
The attacks have added pressure to Saudi Arabia's oil export infrastructure as the kingdom faces disruptions linked to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and retaliatory attacks by Yemen in response to Riyadh's blockade and military operations against the country.
