Iraq's Oil Exports Plummet to Pre-War Low Amid US-Israeli Conflict

Iraq's oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz have plummeted to less than a third of pre-war levels, according to data from maritime tracking firm Kpler. Before the US-Israeli war on Iran began, Iraq was exporting an average of 105 million barrels per month through the waterway.

However, between July 4 and August 4, only around 30 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil were able to pass through Hormuz, as detected by Kpler. This represents a significant decline in exports for the country.
