Iraq's Oil Exports Soar to Highest Level Since Start of War
Iraq's oil exports have reached their highest level since the start of the war in the Middle East, according to the country's Oil Ministry. The ministry reported that the average daily oil exports since August 1 are at two million barrels per day, totaling around 26 million barrels.
This milestone comes as a result of increased oil shipments through Iraq, which has seen its oil exports rise significantly in recent weeks. The crisis in the Strait of Hormuz has led to a significant reduction in oil exports from Iran and other countries in the region, creating an opportunity for Iraq to increase its market share.
