Iraq's Oil Minister Alters Course on Gasoline Shortage

Iraq's Oil Minister Bassem al-Abadi announced that measures are being taken to address a temporary shortage of gasoline in the country. According to al-Abadi, operational teams are working around the clock to secure citizens' needs for petroleum products.

The minister stated that additional shipments of gasoline will arrive soon, which will help stabilize supplies and meet domestic demand. He emphasized that the Oil Ministry is continuously monitoring supply and distribution movements to ensure stability in the local market.

Al-Abadi also highlighted the progress made by the ministry in developing the oil sector during the government's first 100 days. The minister reported that crude oil exports have increased from around 250,000 barrels per day when the government was tasked with forming, to exceeding 3 million barrels per day.
