IRGC Targets Oil Tankers Defying CENTCOM in Strait of Hormuz
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it targeted two oil tankers attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without permission.
The vessels, which were under the influence of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), had planned to navigate an undeclared route with US air escort. However, they were met with a response from the IRGC Navy, resulting in one tanker catching fire and both immediately turning back.
The IRGC emphasized that its navy continues to maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz and is safeguarding the trust of the Iranian nation. All shipping companies and insurance companies have been informed to disregard CENTCOM's announcements and question those who have fallen prey to deception and accidents.
