ISIS Calls for Attacks on Oil Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia
An Islamic State (IS) spokesman has called for attacks on Westerners and oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Abu Hamza al-Muhajir made this statement in a recorded speech posted on the group's official Telegram channel.
According to the speech, targets include oil pipelines, factories, and facilities that are the source of income for the 'tyrant government'. Al-Muhajir stated that Saudi Arabia's decision to open its airspace to Israel had backed last month's normalization agreements between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
A study published in the United Arab Emirates shows growing support for establishing ties with Israel in some Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia.
