Ivanhoe Mines reported a $46 million profit for Q2 2026, compared to a $2 million loss in Q1. Adjusted EBITDA was $179 million, with Kamoa-Kakula contributing $152 million of that.

The company's smelter at Kamoa-Kakula has been operating at a cost of $0.41 per pound of copper produced, but this is largely offset by revenue from high-strength sulphuric acid sales.

Kamoa-Kakula sold 61,249 tonnes of copper in Q2 at an average price of $5.99 per pound, while Kipushi set a production record with 70,177 tonnes of zinc.
