Jewel Cafe Expands into Tsuen Wan with Free Jewelry Appraisals
High gold prices in Hong Kong are driving demand for jewelry appraisals, according to Jewel Cafe, a Japanese-founded specialty buying brand that has opened its third store in Tsuen Wan's OP Mall. The company offers free appraisals of gold, jewelry, luxury watches, and branded goods with no obligation to sell.
The move comes after a record-breaking year for gold prices in 2025, when the annual average price reached USD 3,431 per ounce, up 44% from the previous year. This growth has led more consumers to seek appraisal services before deciding whether to keep or sell their existing jewelry and luxury items.
Jewel Cafe's new store joins its existing locations in Mong Kok and North Point, making it the brand's third location in Hong Kong. The company combines Japanese appraisal expertise with customer-first hospitality, providing a trusted buying experience for customers across the territory.
