Jordan Gold Prices Jump Amid Global Market Strength
The gold market in Jordan experienced an increase in prices on Thursday, with 21-karat gold being the most affected. According to the daily price list issued by the Jordanian General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmiths Shops, 21-karat gold rose by JOD 1.10 per gram compared to Wednesday's prices.
The selling price for 21-karat gold was set at JOD 86.90 per gram, while the buy-back price stood at JOD 82.80 per gram. This marks an increase from Wednesday's prices of JOD 85.80 for selling and JOD 81.80 for buying.
The rise in gold prices is attributed to the continued strength in global gold prices, which have recently climbed to their highest levels in several weeks as investors seek safe-haven assets.
