Jordan Gold Prices Rise as Local Market Sees Increases
The local gold market in Jordan saw price increases across various karat weights on Wednesday. The selling price of 21-karat gold rose by 40 fils per gram compared to Tuesday's price, reaching JD93.8 for sale at jewelry stores and JD89.8 for purchase.
This marks a notable increase from the previous day's prices, where 21-karat gold stood at JD93.4 per gram for selling and JD89.4 for buying. The General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops reported these changes on Wednesday.
The price of 24-karat gold also saw a rise, increasing to JD107.9 per gram from JD107.4 the day before, marking a 50-fils increase. In contrast, the selling price of 18-karat gold rose by only 30 fils to JD83.3 per gram.
