The funding for these projects comes from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, which has been supporting Jordan's development efforts since 1974. The total financial support provided by the fund to Jordan is AED 9.4 billion.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh signed the contracts, praising the UAE's continued support for Jordan. He noted that these projects will provide an alternative energy source for industries, enabling them to reduce production costs and improve competitiveness.
