Jordanian Gold Prices Plummet to JD88.20 per Gram

Gold prices in Jordan's local market have dropped to JD88.20 per gram, according to the General Association for Owners of Jewellery and Goldsmith Shops.

The selling price for 21-karat gold, the most popular among Jordanians, has fallen by one JOD per gram from shops to 88.20 JOD per gram, while the buying price is 84.20 JOD per gram.

Prices for other types of gold have also decreased: 24-karat and 18-karat gold are now selling at JD101.40 and JD78.20 per gram from jewellery shops, respectively.
