Jordanian Gold Prices Surge Amid Global Market Volatility
The Jordanian gold market saw an increase in prices over the weekend, with the selling price of 21-karat gold reaching JD103.60 per gram for sales at jewelry shops.
This is compared to a purchase price of JD98.90 per gram, according to President Rebhi Allan of the General Syndicate for Owners of Trading Shops and Gold and Jewelry Goldsmiths.
The prices of other types of gold also rose, with 24-karat and 18-karat gold selling at JD118.80 and JD92.30 per gram, respectively, for purchase from jewelry shops.
