July Gold and Silver Prices Plummet Amid Evening Selling Pressure

On July 29, 2026, gold and silver prices experienced significant declines on international markets. The precious metals had shown mixed movement earlier in the day before succumbing to selling pressure during evening trading sessions.

The biggest drop was seen in international gold, which fell below its morning levels. At 9:40 am, the price was recorded at $4,024 per ounce, showing a decline of $2.6 from the opening value. However, gold briefly recovered to $4,027 per ounce by 3:44 pm, only to fall further to $4,009 per ounce by 9:03 pm.

The international gold rate decreased by approximately $15 per ounce throughout the day. In Pakistan, gold prices also declined, moving from Rs429,000 in the morning and afternoon sessions to Rs428,500 by evening, a decrease of Rs500.
