K92 Mining Sees Strong Q2 Growth as Gold Production Surges
K92 Mining reported strong Q2 results for 2026, with its Kainantu gold mine in Papua New Guinea producing 46,682 ounces of gold sold, a significant increase from 28,864 ounces in the same period last year.
The company's revenue from concentrate and doré sales climbed to $205.246 million, up from $96.343 million, driven by a higher realized gold price of $4,493 per ounce compared to $3,166 in Q2 2025.
K92 also reported lower all-in sustaining costs (AISC) per ounce at $1,376, down from $1,408 in Q2 2025, and a cash cost per ounce of $859, up from $786.
The company's Stage 3 expansion plant, commissioned in late 2025, continues to ramp up, with tonnes processed reaching 225,965 in the quarter, up from 130,337 in Q2 2025.
