Kabul's gold prices saw an increase during the outgoing week, while other essential commodity rates remained unchanged, according to market sources. The price of Arab gold rose by 5% from last week, reaching 7,700 Afghanis (afs) per gram for 750-carat gold, and 6,120 afs per gram for 585-carat Russian gold.

The fluctuations in Kabul's gold prices are linked to changes in international gold markets, said gold traders. Meanwhile, the currency exchange rates remained stable, with one US dollar selling for 64.70 afs today, similar to last Saturday.

Commodity prices, including petrol and diesel, liquefied gas, sugar, flour, rice, oil, tea, and other food items, saw no change from last week's prices. The retail prices of some food items differ slightly from wholesale prices, with larger differences seen in certain cases.
