The prices of fuel and essential goods in Kabul have decreased during the outgoing week. Hekmatullah Mohammadi, an employee at Wazirabad fuel station, reported that petrol has dropped from 80afs to 78afs per liter and diesel from 74afs to 73afs per liter due to increased oil imports from Iran.

The wholesale price of a 49-kilogram sack of Indian sugar decreased by 30afs to 2,770afs, while a 49-kilogram sack of Kazakh flour dropped by 50afs to 1,550afs. Other essential food items saw stable prices, including a 24-kilogram bag of Indian rice at 2,500afs and a 16-liter bottle of Malaysian cooking oil at 2,000afs.

The price of one gram of Arabian gold decreased from 7,030afs to 7,020afs, while Russian gold fell from 5,620afs to 5,600afs per gram due to fluctuations in local markets linked to international changes. The US dollar was traded at 65.70afs, down from last week's rate of 66afs for one dollar.
