Kazakhstan Cuts Oil Production Plan Amid Caspian Pipeline Attacks

Kazakhstan has revised its oil production plan for 2026 due to attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).

The country's Energy Minister, Erlan Akkenzhenov, said that the initial plan was to maintain last year's production level of 99.5 million tons and approach the 100 million-ton mark.

However, due to attacks in January and July, Kazakhstan lost approximately 3.5 million tons, forcing a reduction in oil production.

The adjusted plan is now for 96 million tons, down from the initial target of 98 million tons.
