Kazakhstan Flour Exports Soar Amid Rising Production

Kazakhstan has seen a significant increase in wheat flour production and exports over the past year. According to official statistics, around 3.1 million tons of flour were produced during the first 10 months of the 2025/26 market year (September-June), which is 16% more than the same period last season.

The country's flour exports have also increased, rising by 20% from 1.56 million tons to 1.88 million tons during this time.

Afghanistan remains the main consumer of Kazakh wheat flour, with imports increasing by 21% this season to 1.14 million tons. Other Central Asian countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan have also significantly increased their imports from Kazakhstan.
