Kazakhstan Oil Production Slumps 8.4% Amid Gradual Recovery

Kazakhstan's oil production declined by 8.4% in January-August 2026, reaching 61.7 million tons, according to Report. The government noted a gradual recovery in oil production volumes.

Despite the drop, Kazakhstan's real GDP growth remained steady at 4.1% over the first eight months of this year.

The adjusted oil production forecast for 2026 is 96 million tons, as per the Kazakh government's press service.
