Kazakhstan Restores Oil Output After Caspian Pipeline Disruptions
Kazakhstan's oil production has returned to normal levels after disruptions caused by attacks on tankers near the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) marine terminal.
The country's Energy Ministry confirmed that output had stabilized, with no decline in oil volumes observed since production was reduced due to the suspension of shipments through the CPC in July.
The disruption was caused by repeated UAV attacks on tankers operating near the terminal between July 17 and 20, forcing the consortium to halt oil loadings at the marine terminal and curtail crude intake into the pipeline system.
However, on July 27, Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry announced that oil transportation through the Tengiz, Novorossiysk pipeline had resumed, along with crude oil loadings at the marine terminal.
