Kazakhstan's Grain Exports Surge 12.6% Amid Strong Regional Demand
Kazakhstan's agricultural exports continue to rise, driven by growing demand for its products in Central Asia and beyond. The country exported nearly 14 million tonnes of grain and flour equivalents from September 2025 to July 2026, a significant increase of 12.6% compared to the previous season.
The main driver behind this growth was an uptick in supplies to regional countries, including Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan.
Exports to Uzbekistan rose by 36%, with shipments totaling 5.8 million tonnes, while deliveries to Kyrgyzstan increased by 35% to 528,000 tonnes.
The Ministry of Agriculture pointed out that the increase in export volumes reflects strong demand for Kazakh agricultural products and improved logistics.
