Kazakhstan's Grain Exports Surge 12.6% to Near 14 Million Tonnes
Kazakhstan's agricultural sector has seen significant growth in grain and flour exports. According to the country's Ministry of Agriculture, the nation exported nearly 14 million tonnes of grain and flour equivalent from September 2025 to July 2026.
This marks a 12.6% increase compared to the previous season. The main driver of this growth was increased supplies to Central Asian countries and Afghanistan.
The country's exports to Uzbekistan rose by 36% to 5.8 million tonnes, while shipments to Kyrgyzstan increased by 35% to 528,000 tonnes. Exports to Afghanistan grew by 57% to 2.4 million tonnes, and deliveries to Turkmenistan increased by 32% to 220,000 tonnes.
