Kerala Gold Prices Bounce Back Amid Global Market Volatility
Gold prices in Kerala experienced a slight rebound on Tuesday after declining steadily over the past few days. The price of 22-carat gold increased by Rs 30 per gram to Rs 14,040, while one sovereign rose by Rs 240 to Rs 1,12,320.
The gold market had seen a sharp decline in prices on Monday, with the price of one sovereign dropping by around Rs 1,080 from its morning rate to settle at Rs 1,12,080. The slight recovery today comes after a period of continuous decline in gold prices.
Changes in international gold prices are affecting the Kerala market, with selling pressure in the global gold market increasing amid concerns that central banks may raise interest rates in response to inflationary pressures.
