KGL Resources Shares Rise as Jervois Copper Project Secures Major Funding Milestone
KGL Resources shares rose on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on August 26 as the company secured significant funding for its Jervois Copper Project in the Northern Territory.
The US$300 million streaming arrangement with Wheaton is a major milestone for KGL, which has been preparing the project for a final investment decision and targeting production around 2027.
In addition to the funding milestone, KGL awarded early contracts worth A$36 million, including an infrastructure contract, as development on the Jervois Copper Project begins. The company's focus is on delivering the project to production and riding the strong copper price.
