The reports come after days of renewed fighting between Iran and the US, which resumed last Sunday with US attacks on Iran. This marks six months since the war began.
The conflict has escalated in recent days, with both sides vying for control of the strategic Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian government has vowed to avenge civilian deaths at a wedding that it blames on Washington, and said its armed forces had hit US military bases in Kuwait and the UAE.
