Kinder Morgan Inc., a leading energy infrastructure company, is seeing high demand for its natural gas infrastructure and liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports in the wake of damage to LNG facilities in Qatar during the war. According to Industrial Info Resources data, Kinder Morgan has a total investment value of nearly $18.3 billion in 176 active U.S. projects.

The company's executive chairman, Richard Kinder, stated that increasing LNG exports, rising power demand, and industrial expansion make its existing highly-utilized assets more valuable and create significant opportunities for investment across its footprint.

Kinder Morgan is working on an optimization project at the Elba Island LNG export terminal in Savannah, Georgia, which will boost the facility's liquefaction capacity by 400,000 metric tons per year to 2.9 million metric tons per annum (MTPA). The company has also placed $660 million in expansion projects into service during the second quarter.
