Guangdong Kingboard Laminates Sales Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Kingboard Group, has announced another price increase for its FR-4 and PP prepreg products. The move is due to rising raw material costs and strong demand from end-use sectors such as AI computing power.

The company will raise the prices of its FR-4 full-thickness specifications by 10%, while PP prepreg thick cloth (7628 and above) will see a 10% price hike. However, thin cloth (below 7628) will experience a 20% increase in prices.

This latest price adjustment comes as the copper clad laminate (CCL) industry continues to face rising raw material costs, combined with strong downstream demand support. SMM will continue to monitor follow-up actions by peer producers amidst this trend.
