The Klaipėda Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Lithuania has reopened its capacity bidding for 2027, offering market participants a chance to secure regasification and LNG reloading services. Terminal operator KN Energies opened a supplementary booking window after the initial allocation procedure, allowing companies to submit requests for specific cargo slots.

The additional invitation includes two specific cargo slots: Cargo No. 1 offers 1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of regasification capacity for delivery between March 12-13, 2027, while Cargo No. 2 offers 1 billion kWh of regasification capacity for delivery between September 21-22, 2027.

Earlier this year, KN Energies completed a long-term allocation procedure, securing over 20 terawatt-hours of regasification capacity at the facility for 2033 through 2044. Five international customers, including regional players such as Ignitis and Equinor, booked this long-term capacity.
