Kosmos Energy Sees Strong Q2 Earnings Boosted by Jubilee Growth

Kosmos Energy reported strong Q2 2026 results, posting $185 million in net income and a 12% increase in production. The company's revenues reached $607 million, or $86.68 per barrel of oil equivalent.

The growth was driven by the Jubilee Field in Ghana and the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim LNG project, both of which contributed to the 71,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day average. In the Gulf of Mexico, net production averaged approximately 14,300 boepd.

Kosmos also made progress on its debt reduction goals, with net cash from operating activities reaching $175 million in Q2 and free cash flow of roughly $89 million. The company's net debt fell by more than $400 million across the first half of the year.
