Kotyark Lands Major Biodiesel Supply Orders from BPCL and HPCL
Kotyark Industries has secured two major biodiesel supply orders from Indian public sector oil marketing companies BPCL and HPCL. The contracts, worth Rs 15.41 crore, will see Kotyark deliver a total of 1,662 kiloliters (KL) of biodiesel to the companies. The larger contract was awarded by BPCL for 1,287 KL of biodiesel, while HPCL ordered 375 KL.
The contracts were issued through Letters of Intent dated August 3 and 4, 2026, with estimated order values of Rs 11.93 crore and Rs 3.48 crore respectively. Kotyark Industries has a strong commercial relationship with BPCL and HPCL, having received consistent contract awards from the companies in recent years.
The biodiesel market in India is expanding rapidly, driven by government initiatives to promote cleaner transportation fuels and reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels. The new contracts will support higher production utilization at Kotyark Industries, while also contributing to India's ongoing transition toward renewable energy solutions.
