Kremlin Offers Cheaper Gas Solution to Europe's Energy Woes
The Kremlin has suggested that European countries could ease their energy woes by purchasing cheaper Russian gas.
Natural gas prices in Europe have risen sharply due to the ongoing conflict, reaching a high of 75 euros per megawatt-hour last week - more than double the level seen a year ago.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that European countries are harming themselves by buying expensive gas on the spot market instead of opting for cheaper Russian options.
