Krissek Honored for Decade and a Half of Service to USGBC
Kansas Corn Commission CEO Emeritus Greg Krissek was honored for his 15 years of service to the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) at its recent 66th Annual Board of Delegates Meeting in Milwaukee, WI.
Krissek's involvement with USGBC began when he joined Kansas Corn in 2000 and started attending meetings regularly in 2014 as CEO of Kansas Corn. He was especially involved in the development of the Ethanol A-Team, serving on it from its inception, and later joined the Middle East and South Asia A-Team from 2020 to 2026.
Krissek's work with USGBC took him on several overseas missions, including trips to India before the opening of the Council's office in New Delhi. He attended Auto Expo, India's largest auto show, where the Council was working with the Indian auto industry to address the economic benefits of having a robust fuel ethanol policy.
'I got to return to India for the opening of the Council’s office in New Delhi, and it was like coming to fruition the work that a lot of people have done to make that office a reality,' Krissek said.
